Build a DFS lineup with AI. Free.
TwoGunGPT is a free AI DFS lineup builder. You give it a DraftKings salary file and your own projections, you tell it how you think the game goes, and it returns the highest-projected legal lineup for that story — stacked, shaped for the game, and checked against DraftKings’ rules by an exact optimizer, not a guess. It works for DraftKings classic slates and showdowns, and it costs $0.
The builder lives inside TwoGun’s AI, the chat that runs this site. Load the files once, then ask in plain English: “build me a lineup,” “stack the Bills and bring back a Dolphin,” “captain the running back,” “give me three,” “something contrarian.”
How it works (three steps, about a minute)
- Open the chat. Sign in free on the homepage — Google or an emailed magic link, no passwords — and tap the glowing button in the bottom-right corner.
- Load two files. Under the messages, tap LOAD A DRAFTKINGS CSV and pick the DKSalaries.csv off any DraftKings contest page (Export to CSV, under the player list) plus a CSV of your projections — any layout with a name column and a points column. One merged file that carries both works too. The files are joined in your browser; the AI sees the pool, never the files.
- Tell it how the game goes, then read the build. “Seahawks blow them out.” “Shootout.” “Low-scoring slog.” Add what you want — a stack, a fade, a captain, three builds, something contrarian — and the lineup comes back with every slot, salary and point total, plus a BUILD line naming the shape and the game script it bets on. Tweak it by talking.
What makes it different: it thinks about the game
Most optimizers add up projections and stop. This one builds around a game, and the arithmetic is still exact underneath.
- Classic slates are stacked by default. The QB rides with one or two of his own pass catchers (WR or TE — never a running back), optionally a bring-back from the other side, and never with a defense facing him. Say “no stack” if you really want the raw max.
- Showdowns are shapes around a game script. The standard build. The blowout 5-1 (five from the favorite behind an RB or DST captain, one underdog pass catcher for garbage time). The upset 5-1 (five from the dog behind their quarterback). The garbage-time build (the favorite’s defense and running back with two underdog pass catchers). No quarterbacks. Ground and pound. An off-position captain — tight end, kicker or defense wearing the 1.5x. The salary punt, with money left on the table on purpose.
- Two rules are always on. A quarterback captain never rides with his own kicker, and a defense never rides with more than two opposing skill players.
- “Give me three” means three different builds — three QB stacks on a classic slate, three shapes in a showdown — not the same lineup minus two studs.
- Contrarian means the shape, not the names. Ask for it and the AI walks the non-standard shapes instead of guessing at ownership.
- Your numbers, its math. The points are your projections, always. It never invents a player, a salary or a number that isn’t in the pool you loaded.
What it needs, and what it won’t do
- Needs: a DraftKings salary CSV, a projections CSV of your own, and a free account.
- Won’t supply projections. Bring your own from any source you trust. If a defense or kicker has no projection, DraftKings’ season average stands in, and the lineup flags it.
- Won’t model ownership. Contrarian is structural here.
- DraftKings only for now — classic and showdown. FanDuel is not supported yet.
- Won’t promise anything. A lineup is a projection, not a promise. The AI says so, usually with a joke.
What it costs
Nothing. The lineup builder, the chat, the Draft Room, every research page — $0, no card to enter, nothing to cancel. This is a hobby site: TwoGun updates it when he feels like it, no paid plan is currently in the works, and no promises either way. There is a daily message allowance that grows with your account level. The pricing page is one big zero.
Questions people ask
Is the AI lineup builder free?
Yes. It costs $0 and there is no card to enter. You need a free account to talk to the AI (Google sign-in or an emailed magic link, no passwords). This is a hobby site: no paid plan is currently in the works, and no promises either way.
Which DFS sites does it support?
DraftKings, classic slates and showdowns. It reads the DKSalaries.csv straight off a DraftKings contest page. FanDuel is not supported yet.
Does it give me projections?
No. It builds from your projections — you upload a CSV with a name column and a points column, from any source you trust. The AI supplies no numbers of its own, invents no salaries, and says so. DraftKings sets the salaries; you set the points; it does the math.
What does the AI do that a normal optimizer doesn’t?
It builds around a game, not just a sum. Every classic lineup is stacked — the QB with one or two of his own pass catchers, optionally a bring-back from the other side, never a DST facing him. Showdown lineups are shapes around a game script: the blowout 5-1, the upset 5-1, the garbage-time build, no-QB, ground-and-pound, an off-position captain, a salary punt. A QB captain never rides with his own kicker, and a DST never rides with more than two opposing skill players. The arithmetic is still an exact optimizer, not a guess.
Can it build showdown lineups?
Yes. Captain plus five FLEX, the captain at 1.5x points and 1.5x salary, both teams represented, under $50,000. Tell it who wins and how; it picks the shape, or you name one.
Can I ask for a contrarian lineup?
Yes. Contrarian means the shape of the build, not different names: five from the favorite behind an RB or DST captain, five from the underdog behind their QB, no quarterbacks at all, a kicker or defense as captain, salary left on the table on purpose. Ask for three and you get three different shapes.
How many lineups can it build at once?
Up to three per ask — three different QB stacks on a classic slate, three different shapes in a showdown. Ask again for more. There is a daily message allowance that grows with your account level.
Does it guarantee anything?
No. A lineup is a projection, not a promise, and the AI will tell you so with a joke. Entertainment only. 21+ where you play. If gambling stops being fun, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
